The Society for the History of Children and Youth (SHCY) selected Ivón Padilla-Rodriguez‘s dissertation “Undocumented Youth: The Labor, Education, and Rights of Migrant Children in Twentieth Century America” as the winner of the 2021 best doctoral dissertation on the history of children, childhood or youth.

Mae Ngai and Riva Kastoryano (Sciences Po) have been awarded a grant from the Alliance Program, to co-teach “Migration and Citizenship in the U.S. and Europe, Then and Now,” in Spring 2023. The course will be offered simultaneously to students in New York and Paris, using videoconferencing and faculty exchange.
