As some of you already know, Eugenia Lean and Matt Connelly have organized a conference in honor of Adam McKeown Nov. 30-Dec. 1 at the Heyman Center, “How International, Transnational, and Global History Conquered the World.” This will feature a lot of Adam’s friends and former students, and his family will also be there. Needless to say, I hope many of you will be able to attend. The program is attached
Also, please email Ned Russin (ebr2135@columbia.edu) if you might also like to come to the banquet dinner that will be held on the second night (Dec. 1) at a Cantonese restaurant downtown called Congee Village. This will also be an opportunity to honor Adam’s amazing karaoke exploits (the inspiration for the poster — also attached.)
