Join us on May 12th, 2023 for an evening and boat cruise around Manhattan with Professor Adam Tooze!
This is a ticketed event and the cost is $250 per person. This includes the cruise, a seated buffet dinner, drinks, and the lecture (contributions to the dinner are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; the non-deductible portion of each dinner is $190. Net proceeds will be used to enhance undergraduate and graduate student support, fellowships and awards within the History Department.)
Boarding begins at 6:30pm. Cruise departs at 7:00pm, returns to Chelsea Piers at 10:00pm. Dinner and drinks will be provided. Dress code is business casual. This is a ticketed event and the cost is $250 per person. This includes the cruise, a seated buffet dinner, drinks, and the lecture

Adam Tooze is the Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Professor of History and Director of the European Institute. His latest book is Shutdown: How COVID Shook the World’s Economy. He is currently working on a book trying to make sense of the last half century in terms of, on the one hand, the identification and measurement of the climate crisis and, on the other hand, the failure to do anything substantial about it.
