Adam Mestya, Assistant Professor of History at Duke University and Foreign Research Fellow at the French Institute of Oriental Archeology (Cairo) will be presenting his new book on “Arab Patriotism – The Ideology and Culture of Power in Late Ottoman Egypt.” Introductory remarks by Rashid Khalidi, Edward Said Professor of Modern Arab Studies (History).
