Ahmed Tabbakh is a PhD student specializing in Anglo-Ottoman interactions and material cultural transfer during the early modern period and throughout the long 18th century. He graduated Hunter College magna cum laude with a B.A. in History and is a Beinecke Scholarship recipient. He hopes to contribute to the growing bodies of work in interconnected and global history during his time at Columbia.
