Ogembo, Lynder

Lynder Ogembo is a PhD candidate in history at Columbia University, working with Professor Stephen Rhiannon as her advisor. She has a special interest in gender studies that centre on Kenya's fishing sector. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Kenyatta University, and she is currently finishing up her Master of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy degree at the same institution. She likes to travel to new locations and listen to Rhumba music when she isn't studying.
