Meberg, Justine

Justine Meberg is a doctoral student in nineteenth-century US history, with a focus on women in antebellum conflicts. Her work explores the relationship between women, the rhetoric of noncombatancy, and the US army in the Mexican War. Before entering the PhD program, Justine received a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point. She holds the rank of captain in the army, and will begin teaching US history at West Point in 2019.
