Lien-Hang Nguyen met with the Prime Minister of Vietnam, PHAM Minh Chinh, on May 15th in an private event hosted by Vietnam Ambassador to the UN, DANG Hoang Giang. The ceremony, in which Prof. Nguyen gave a short speech to the PM, announced Vietnamese Studies at Columbia’s upcoming conferences in Hanoi and HCMC this summer.
