Gluck WEAI news
Carol Gluck, the George Sansom Professor of History and Chair of the Committee on Global Thought at Columbia University, gave a series of three lectures at Wuhan University in China from November 6 through 10, 2017. Professor Gluck presented the lectures “Modernity in Common: Japan and World History,” “How Change Happens in Japan: A Grand Unified Theory of Japanese History,” and “Past Obsessions: World War II in History and Memory” to Wuhan University’s history department, Institute for International Studies, and Japanese studies department.
Gluck has also been appointed Guest Professor of Wuhan University’s Institute for International Studies for three years.
