RECENT FACULTY AWARDS

Associate Professor Samuel Kelton Roberts was invited by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) to author a report on federal regulatory policy and the history of methadone maintenance. On March 3, 2022, he presented this work to an audience at NASEM’s workshop, “Methadone Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder: Examining Federal Regulations and Laws.” The National Academies organized the workshop, attended by experts and key stakeholders, to examine the federal regulatory and legal landscape surrounding access to methadone for the treatment of opioid use disorder. “In honor of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Consulate General of Greece in New York organized an event on Wednesday, March 2, in collaboration with the Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion, entitled “Holocaust Remembrance Day of the Greek Jewry”.” Professor Mazower was key-note speaker at the event.

Mark Mazower was a keynote speaker at the International Holocaust Remembrance Day event, “Holocaust Remembrance Day of the Greek Jewry”, hosted by the Consulate General of Greece in New York on March 2, in collaboration with the Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion.
