We invite you to the last event of the Seminar on European History and Politics for this semester. The seminar is a forum for Columbia’s and Barnard’s History and Political Science faculty and advanced PhD students to present their work in progress (and is not open to the broader public). The event will take place on May 3, 1 – 2pm, at Fayerweather 513. The presenter will be Victor Petrov, PhD Candidate, HIstory, Columbia University. His paper (attached below) is titled, “A Socialist Information Age: Bulgarian Computers, Technocrats and the End of Communism”.
