I am a historian studying the history of South Asia, Medicine, Science, and Intellectual History. My Ph.D. research explores the history of rice, nutrition, and population in 20th-century South Indian states, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, with a specific focus on mid-century political changes in the region.

I completed my MA/MSc in International and World History at Columbia University and the London School of Economics in 2024. My thesis examined how interwar economic uncertainties and agrarian change reshaped rice diets and food ecologies in southern India between 1920 and 1940. I also hold an MA in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University (2021) and am currently a doctoral candidate at Columbia University.

Before entering academia, I worked as a journalist and digital content producer in Kerala, India, reporting on politics, education, defense, and the environment.
