Grace Elicker (she/her) is a first-year PhD student in United States history. Grace’s research focus is on labor, particularly the study of late twentieth-century service workers in hospitals and universities. Additionally, she is concerned with the intersection between labor and freedom movements.
Grace received her BA in American Studies from Georgetown University in 2022. Before her doctoral program, she conducted research on WWI Mexican guestworker programs for an ongoing digital humanities project.
