Madeleine Zelin will be featured speaker at History Weekend, a public event at North Carolina State University on March 19, 2016. This year’s theme is “Rethinking the Roots of Modern China.” Professor Zelin will speak on the subject of “Freedom and the Economy in Late Imperial China.”
