Reviel Netz is Suppes Professor in Greek Mathematics and Astronomy in the Departments of Classics and Philosophy (by courtesy), Stanford University. His publications include Ludic Proof: Greek Mathematics and the Alexandrian Aesthetic (2009) and The Transformation of Early Mediterranean Mathematics:

From Problems to Equations (2004). He is co-editor of a new critical edition of Archimedes’ manuscripts with Cambridge University Press. John Ma is Professor of Classics, Columbia University. His publications includeStatues and Cities: Honorific Portraits and Civic Identity in the Hellenistic World (rev. 2015) and Antiochos III and the Cities of Western Asia Minor (2nd ed. 2002).
