The Center for the Study of Ethnicity and Race presents: The Urban Life and Struggle Film Series, East L.A Interchange. Directed by Betsy Kalin (CC 91’). Watch the story of working-class, immigrant, Boyl Heights; the oldest neighborhood in East LA, and how it survived racially restrictive housing, internment camps, redlining policies, the freeway interchange, and gentrification.

Post-film discussion with the Director. Moderated by Prof. Frank Guridy (History). 6:30pm. 515 Dodge Screening Room.
