Columbia University and Slavery Monday, January 30, 2017, 4:00 p.m. Rotunda, Low Memorial Library This University event will present the findings of the Columbia University and Slavery project and a newly launched website housing its compiled research. Jordan Brewington, CC ’17 and Jared Odessky, CC ’15 will discuss their research and personal experiences contributing to the project. Welcome: Lee C. Bollinger, President, Columbia University in the City of New York Introduction: Eric Foner, DeWitt Clinton Professor of History, Columbia University in the City of New York Moderator: Christopher L. Brown, Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs; Professor of History and Director of the Society of Fellows, Columbia University in the City of New York The event will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
